The area comes across as a mix between Cairo and Moscow with ancient houses and brightly painted wooden balconies. The rooms in the hostel are equipped with a kettle and all units include a shared bathroom.

I stayed at Indie Mindie for a week as a solo traveler. The WiFi speed was outstanding, making it easy for me to stay connected. The location in the historical area was perfect, with great access to bus and metro lines. The family-run business provided true Georgian hospitality, with the owner Gvantsa speaking Chinese, Russian, and English fluently. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was clean, and there was rarely a line for the toilet. The hostel was also very affordable for what it offers.
